About

I was a Data Scientist/Machine Learning Engineer at WeightWatchers International. Previously I was a Data Scientist at Vituity, a health informatics company, and prior to that I was an Assistant Professor in the Mathematics and Computer Science department at Bronx Community College, City University of New York. I received my Ph.D. from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, under the direction of Jason Metcalfe, studying Partial Differential Equations and General Relativity.

I developed a fascination for large data analysis and prediction methods, particularly in statistical learning, and completed a fellowship from The Data Incubator Data Science bootcamp.
